CBC/Radio Canada seeks research journalist

Required profile

• You are curious and interested in current affairs and the world around you;
• You work well in a dynamic environment where activities take place quickly;
• You are comfortable working in a team but function well with little supervision.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent;
• Two (2) years of experience in journalism or research.

SKILLS

• Very good general knowledge;
• Excellent knowledge of current events in the Atlantic provinces;
• Good knowledge of French-speaking communities in the Atlantic;
• Fluency in the working language (French);
• Lots of initiative and resourcefulness;
• Teamwork skills;
• Knowledge of the Society’s Journalistic Standards and Practices;
• A lot of ease in doing digital research;
• Valid driving license.

Those selected will be subject to the following tests:

• Selection interview.
