Saadeqa Khan (pen name spells) is a meticulous, energetic, and dynamic Science journalist based in Pakistan. She is the founder and Chief Editor of Scientia Pakistan magazine and serves as a science correspondent for Deutsche Welle Urdu Service. Previously she has worked with Dawn media group Pakistan, BBC Urdu service, Climate Tracker organization, Gavi, the Vaccine Alliance, Being Patient, etc.

Saadeqa is a member of the Oxford Climate Journalism Network (second cohort) and received the Berlin Science Week Journalism grant in 2020. She was selected among six global finalists for the British Every Woman in Technology Awards 2021 academic category. She's also a fellow of the National Press Foundation Washington, Science journalism forum 2021/2022, and Falling Walls Foundation 2020.

Saadeqa received several prestigious journalism awards in Pakistan, including awareness journalism 2020/2021 and ICRC's humanitarian reporting award 2021
