Are you a student science journalist wondering how to get that big break in the national media?
Are you looking for tailored careers advice from experienced professionals about what your next step should be?
Do you want to know what will give you that added edge in the job market for science journalists?

The Association of British Science Writers is hosting a special event aimed at student science journalists to offer one-to-one careers advice from established professionals within the UK print, broadcast and online media. This is an in-person event, and each student will receive their first drink free as well as free food.

On arrival, student participants will sign up for sessions with the established journalists on a ‘first come first served’ basis. Each session will last five minutes. One session per student per established journalist.

  • Free for ABSW student members
  • £25 for student non-members (includes one year free ABSW student membership)
